Super Apps are multifunctional applications that offer services related to different sectors within the same platform. They provide users with a single place to find various products and services, and are designed to become the only online reference point for people.
For businesses, being part of a Super App ecosystem is revolutionary, as it allows them to stand out and become the most important reference point for users.

Super Apps offer advantages to both consumers and businesses.
Consumers no longer need to access different apps for different products or services, as they can find everything in one place.
Businesses can increase revenue by offering their services on a single platform, increasing customer numbers and strengthening loyalty.
Super Apps can offer a wide range of services, including finance, sales, event ticketing, hotel and restaurant bookings, job search, messaging, and real-time information.
One of the most famous Super Apps is WeChat, which was launched as a messaging app, but now offers a wide range of additional services.

The app started as an instant messaging platform like Twitter, Facebook Messenger, or WhatsApp but with the added feature of buying and selling stickers online for monetization.
They later added a verification fee for opinion leaders, Moments (similar to Instagram and Facebook feeds), and a payment feature that allowed users to pay for various things through a tablet or phone or scannable QR code.
WeChat stands out by offering features such as booking travel, waiting in line for a hospital, and buying items on the app for as low as 10 cents. The ecommerce platform is owned by Tencent, who acquired payment support from JD.com, China's second-largest ecommerce player.

Elon Musk often looks to Asia for inspiration, and Tesla builds more cars in China than anywhere else. Elon's vision for Twitter is to become the western version of WeChat,
but there are not enough articles breaking down what Twitter needs to do to become a USD $12.7 trillion super app. By analyzing WeChat's history, we can identify what Twitter needs to execute and exceed to become a super app.
It is therefore reasonable to think that within a decade, those who do not follow this trend may find themselves out of the loop of the big numbers, while those who are already widely involved in the social, content, and e-commerce world like Amazon or a few others, can only benefit from this opportunity as they have already explored the new revenue streams of the digital giants. And what about users?
We could only decide as consciously as possible whom to give our money to since our data has already been taken without our permission just to get to our wallets. The important thing is to feel comfortable in the Super App we choose, or will they make us choose without telling us?
